Have you ever seen the U.S. Navy Blue Angels perform? I have seen them several times and it is always a thrilling performance. They will be performing again along with other aerial performances at the MCAS Miramar Air Show October 12-14, 2012. The theme for this year’s show is Marines in Flight: Celebrating 50 Years of Space Exploration.
Tthe MCAS Miramar flight line will also feature static displays, including past and present military equipment exhibits, and air show memorabilia. This is a great family event to celebrate our nation’s great history in flight, with NASA, and other great aviators.
General admission to the show is free. That includes parking and you can have blanket seating for watching the aerial shows. You can pay for seating; see the ticket prices here. There will be refreshments for sale at the show. Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water and you should be all set. Don’t miss this exciting show, the largest military air show in the nation!
