I thoroughly enjoy a night out at the theater. And I don’t go nearly enough. There’s something special about a live performance – like you are a part of it. I saw Wicked for the second time recently. Still so magical and so much fun!
If you have been looking for a night out with your husband, or some good friends, plan a night out to the theater. There are many options in San Diego to choose from – the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park, San Diego Civic Theatre, Balboa Theater, La Jolla Playhouse and more.
There is a great opportunity coming up to enjoy a night out at the theatre and support a great cause. AVID, a San Diego-based company that provides programs and training for schools to support students in preparing them for college, has reserved two special nights at the San Diego Civic Theatre as a fundraiser to support the Julie Elliot Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund is awarded to six high school students to help make their college dreams a reality.
The two shows supporting the scholarship fund are Jekyll and Hyde on October 2nd, 7 p.m. and Peter Pan on November 13th at 7 p.m. Both will be playing at the San Diego Civic Theatre. You can buy discounted tickets in support of the scholarship fund for just $61 (normally $76 seats) by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
So go treat yourself to a fun night out with amazing performances of either Jekyll and Hyde or Peter Pan and support a great cause in helping some of today’s youth have a chance at a better future.
